Yesterday evening, my mobile, supplied by EE, suddenly decided that I had a password, and won't tell me what it is! You may think I'm joking, but I swear that I never had a password before and never wanted one. It made the process of using the phone unnecessarily cumbersome. Now I can't use the phone at all unless, by some lucky guess, I can decide what the password is meant to be, or a mechanic can remove the password requirement, which would endanger the contents of the phone. Any suggestions for dealing with this, please? I would phone the EE helpline, but, obviously, I can't because my phone won't work!

Which model phone are you using?
Do you get asked for the passcode as soon as you try and access the phone?
Have you tried restarting your phone?
