I've just purchased a Samsung 6 smart watch through ee. I'm not smart savvy so please bare with me! I've bought it with a data plan. I also have a contract phone through ee. I've been trying to set it up for a week now unsuccessfully. When I go into setting to set up the data plan it's keeps coming up saying there's an error and to call 150 and tell them error 531 for them to finalise setting it up....called and the chap as nice as he was hadn't got a clue what the error was. He said to give it 3 working days and then call back. 3 days is up today but I've not been able to call back. Has anyone got any ideas what this is please? Thanks

What kind of phone are you using? Is the software up to date on it?

It's a samsung galaxy z flip 4. All updates are up to date on it.

Could you try setting it up when connected to mobile data, rather than WiFi please? Does it then work?

I recommend continuing to speak with our Technical Support team. Hopefully they can get it sorted now that the timescale they have given you has elapsed.
