Can someone tell me the fee for not returning a iPhone 15 pro max 1tb?

I was advised online tgstbit was £550. But I've had an email saying £715!

@gingerling80  The £715 sounds about right as you’ve had this device around 1 year and it’s a £1600 phone when new.  So around only half of the device cost has been paid so far so the rest needs to be paid off if you wish to retain it.

Its annoying as I've had the email threatening me with the charge already. I've not even had the phone delivered yet!

Checking online the trade in price is £551 not £715!

@gingerling80   That’s how much you’ll get if you outright own the phone and did a trade in.

your still paying for it, you’re not trading in you want to keep it so you have to pay off the device in full. 

it’s a £1600 phone so do that math.  How much have you paid so far and how much to pay it up to £1600.   You’ve had it around 1 year just over so about £800+ paid so far and the £715 will pay it up to £1600. 

 The £551 is what you get if you gave back a fully paid off iPhone 15 pro max 1Tb.  It’s not what you have to pay to keep it.

Thanks for coming to the community.

The non-return fee is normally a set amount but isn't the same as the trade-in price as @Chris_B mentioned.

The returns bag would normally be sent to arrive a few days after the new phone, so if there was a wait for the new one, they should have put a delay on the return until after the new one is delivered.

Have you been given any indication on the timescale for your new one to arrive?
