iPhone 14 Pro Delivery Delay

Ordered an iPhone 14 Pro 128gb deep purple on 15/11 and the email said dispatched within 1 day. Got a text to say call ee- this was their customer services team advising there is a back order and to expect delivery at the end of November. 
It’s now mid December and not heard a thing from ee. 
Has anyone had one of these phones and how long was your wait? Super tempted to cancel and keep my iPhone 12.

I ordered my purple 14 Pro Max in October. I’m still waiting. Been 2 months and all EE can tell me is there’s a backlog. They’ve also billed me for not returning my previous device. And I just keep getting bounced around their call centre with no one knowing what’s going on.

Have you actually been charged for not sending your device back? You shouldn't be until your new one arrives.

If you can get to speak to right person there is issues with the manufactures factory in China was told this on the phone when called them on Wednesday x
