Hi. I ordered an iPad on Wednesday and had the order confirmation through yesterday. But nothing showing for delivery times, etc… the website said within 3 days but nothing. Any update? It’s the iPad 13” 512gb

I have had the same experience. Ordered earlier in the week. I was told it would be delivered yesterday and when I checked online this morning it states “awaiting delivery date”!
if I had known this I would have purchased from the Apple Store and collected the same day.
i am thinking about cancelling the order and getting it from Apple now!

Exactly. Amazon, Curry’s even Argos have same day or next day delivery. I don’t know why I’m waiting round for no updates when I could just shop elsewhere. Not happy at all.

Exactly that! If they can’’t be bothered to update and leave people wondering then they don’t deserve the business.

This answer is BS. I ordered an iPad Pro 12.9” Space Black 1Tb on 14th May 2024, I got an email confirmation saying 2-3 business days. 2 days later I get a text asking me to call EE where it turned out the order COULDN’T be progressed because there was an error on my account. It took until Saturday 18th May 2024 to sort that and the order was ‘re-placed’ and I was told, on the phone, by the agent the iPad would be with me in 2-3 days.
Since then I have wasted hours and hours talking to incompetent and ignorant agents because I have not received any order information, the order doesn’t show against my account in the ee app and the two order numbers I have either say there is no order or ‘somethings wrong, can’t show this order right now’.
Depending Who I speak to I either don’t have an order, haven’t paid an upfront payment,. Do have an order, Have paid an upfront payment, but since Saturday every time I speak to somebody I’m being told it will be 28 days or more!
And no one, I mean no one seems to be able to give any more information than that. The worst part, being that no one and I mean no one has any interest or willingness to investigate further and find out why the order says 28 days or more when we all know that you can walk into a Apple Store and pick the device up you can order it from several hundred other stores for delivery within 2 to 3 days.
I strongly believe the delay is down to EE’s profit because they are waiting until they have sufficient level of orders to do a bulk order from Apple so they get a nice big discount which they will not pass on to the customer. they will keep that additional profit to themselves.
So as customers, EE really does not give a damn about how long they want us to wait, they already have our money, contractual agreement and our time so who cares, As far as they are concerned.
And the awful, appalling customer service only adds fuel to that fire.
It’s disgraceful offence and clearly shows EE could not care less about its customers.

We have no access to individual orders on the community, if you are unable to track the order I would suggest getting back in touch with our mobile guides to get the order number looked into and give you an update on the order.

iI have been ‘in touch with our mobile guides to get the order number looked into and give you an update on the order’ every day since Sunday 19th May.
As I described, I’ve had nothing but incompetence and misinformation as well as consistent copy/paste statements from the numerous agents who came and went, seemed unable to read the messages from the previous agent meaning I repeated myself many many times over 14-15 hours each day.
today 24/05/23 I still have NO device, no visibility of the ‘order’ and no response from my complaint that has been closed at least twice with no action or resolution!
AND.. I’ve just spoken, yet again to an agent on EE chat and thry have stated that my order is in status of ‘Processing’. When I asked them to tell me what that meant, the agent responded with the folllwing;
It means, when you placed the order for this device, the device got out of stock, and now the device is back in stock, it will be dispatched within 24-48 hours.
Of course I got transferred twice to other agent who clearly don’t know how to read or more likely are just lazy and can’t be bothered to read previous chat and so far all, now 4 agents have not provided me an explanation who I’ve received NOTHING stating it’s in stock and will be despatched din24-48 hours!
