I’m due an upgrade so have been through the whole process of adding the new phone to my basket. Once I click on checkout it comes up saying there’s a problem and that I’m not the account holder but I am

You need to be set up as the Bill Payer under Account Settings > Manage Numbers

@Leannebutt123 you are registered as an account user, not as the bill payer. You need to log into your account and change your status to bill payer then you are the account holder.
