I was giving a time slot yesterday for the delivery of my new phone from EE. Driver RISHABH
I didn’t receive it .. waited and waited.
Later on had a message saying , I did not provide driver with my 4 pin collection code…what driver ?
No one came , checked security cameras incase the delivery person had small hands and I didn’t hear the knock. But no show. Complete lie.
I then rang customer service dpd explained everything , to which they said your driver couldn’t find your address and will re-deliver tomorrow.
So I asked , will this driver be a super driver ? A driver with a sat nav ? A driver who doesn’t lie ? Or going by other reviews / complaints , a driver who collects phones for a living ?
looking at all your complaints relating to similar if not the same issues , why EE do you continue to use Dpd.
Unless , The EE and Dpd CEO’s are best friends or in a band together.

Hello @JayJay80 ,
Welcome to the conmunity,
I have never had problems with deliveries from DPD. Just wondering why the person had difficulty finding your address for some reason, I find DPD very good personally, how do you know that EE and DPDE CEOS are best friends or in a band together?
They are not useless, may depend where people live and not easy to find address, in my opinion, this is not customer service.

Hi Schockwave
I’m all for human error …
But honesty and transparency goes along way.
This morning I received my package from EE , via Dpd. The Guy who delivered it came in the 1 hour window mentioned and had no difficulty finding my address. He didn’t even have a super sat nav !
He explained that Dpd use temps who end up bringing a lot of items back because they can’t find addresses and struggle to do the job given.
This makes more sense and can be put down to human error , one by the driver and Dpd the employer who hire the person who is competent.
So why the lie ? Why not just be honesty ?
Good song title’s
looking forward to there album.

@JayJay80 , thank you for that explanation, had no idea, neither do most if not all people know that, glad you got your delivery today and it is all sorted I suspect EE do not know this either, so good to know.
