Had a text to say upgrade z8 series no fees
.when I tried to do online told me 500 up front cost. So decided to call. The very unhelpful agent said, it was doing same for him. So I said could he sort it. He came back and said not eligible yet.

Ridiculous that EE want £500 upfront plus my S25 ultra for Z fold 8 ultra.think it's time to leave EE and take my contracts elsewhere.so many cheaper deals out there.

@Steven55 I’m getting £0 upfront on all storage sizes. Across all payment months, 12 to 48.
you’ve not said what storage size or over how many months. And you do have a credit limit that EE is prepared to give you. The more you’re paying upfront the lower your limit is.

There's an upgrade fee of £0.00 but the £500 is an upfront cost.example I'm upgrading from s25 ultra and the z8 fold ultra handset price is considerably more than the s25 hence the upfront fee.ive only got 8 months left on contract so thinking of buying z8 handset @£68 pm x 24 and going sim o ly when contract runs expires.

@Steven55 I’ve been a customer since 2012 and never once had a late payment. My credit score across all credit agencies is perfect ie full scores. Basically I’m in the top 1% of all credit agencies. I believe the amount of credit EE will give me is probably the maximum they offer.

So that'll be different from the flex pay credit agreement options on the website & one of those would take away the anytime upgrade too. It's different types of contracts basically

A credit score is also individual to each specific lender. Each lender scores your credit history against their own criteria, the "credit score" that some of the CRAs can sell can be useful as an indicator but not much else.
Different lenders can view a small amount of late payments different ways.
