Hi ive placed an order for the iPhone 17 pro max I have recived and email with ako code its been 48 hours I have no clue if ive been accepted or not money has been taken and can't seem to get a straight answer over the phone, can any one tell me if ako order number means im approved or am I wasting my time ?

Welcome to the community,

It does mean that your order has been approved, otherwise you would have received an email asking you to contact customer service for more information or one that would have said your order has been cancelled, but depending on what colour and storage size you have ordered, there could be a delay of 28 days, as orders are processed on a first come first serve basis and as they are very popular and new, there is more than likely going to be a delay.

I would also suggest doownloading and installing the DPD app with the same information as EE have, as DPD will send a text up to the evening before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window with a PIN number that you will have to show the driver before receiving your device.

Just adding to the great advice above from @Schockwave. Our team over the phone will be able to tell you if your order has been successful. However, if you've received a confirmation email and the expected money has been taken, this would indicate that the order has been completed. 

If you can tell me the colour and storage size you've ordered, I will double check the stock for you alongside any expected wait times.

What about the pro max 256 in Blue?  When I ordered i was told 7-10 days, but that was on 27th September

Any orders placed from 19/09/25 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB Deep Blue is expected dispatch within more than 28 days.

Thank you Linzi. Shame the advisors aren't sharing that. I also rang Monday and was told my device was in the warehouse, so I was expecting it to be sent out this week. Also what does "within more than 28 days" mean? That reads as pretty much open ended!

I can only go with the information I can see on our internal stock pages @BryanH, but I do understand that it's not nice to receive different pieces of information. 

Our advisors can see when stock is assigned to your order, but they wouldn't be able to see what stock is being assigned to which order in the warehouse. 

I can confirm that all orders are fulfilled on a first come first served basis. When stock is assigned to your specific order, you'll also receive a notification from DPD, and they will set the delivery date and timeframe. 

More than 28 days means we cannot give a narrower timeframe than this.
