New customer sim only

So I ordered a sim only last night as I’m joining as a new customer I entered all details then got message saying we need some more details we will call you in 48 hours. But received a email as well saying successful order and will update when dispatched any ideas if this is normal practice as don’t see why should take 48 hours to discuss info about a sim only order?

It is great to hear you are moving to us on SIM Only.

If you've received the email saying we'll call you, it would usually be due to us needing a bit more information to put the order through.

Did you receive that email first or the confirmation email?

Hi so the message about calling me in 48 hours was in the same page as it gave me my order number and thanked me for placing the order then had email sent after submitting saying would message me once dispatched??

No number just said someone would call me within 48 hours no number for me to contact anyone if I don’t hear from anyone
