Afternoon all,
I’ve just applied for a phone contract with EE, new member. I’ve got a email confirmation to say the order has been placed for the phone, and they will begin work with this.
The only issue that I had which I don’t know if this is a concern, so I paid for the deposit and been given a order number, but I noticed they conducted a credit search, I use Experian and they can put a CreditLock so no one can look unless I unlock this, I have verified this with Experian and said this is genuine and have unlocked the lock just in case they will do this again but will this be an issue?

If you've opted for delivery to a store, then you may not get the direct tracking details at your end, but the store should message you to let you know when this is available to collect.
You can also find your branch's contact details via our store finder here.
Based on what I can see at my end this model is in stock and available for delivery as soon as next day, so fingers crossed this should be with you really soon!

I'm not sure if this block will have stopped your application but if it has, and the team need to clarify anything, they will give you a call, so they can complete your order.

Yeah I gave them a call, seem looks it’s been sorted out so just waiting for confirmation. Out of curiosity as I was advised I will get a text when it’s ready for dispatched, do you know how long this can be?

You'll normally get a text with the DPD tracking details once this is dispatched, and it'll go to the contact number you popped on the order.
What phone have you gone for here, including the colour and storage version?

So I’ve went for the IPhone 16 Pro 1TB (Desert Titanium)
So could be the case of waiting for this to arrive to store and go from there, I was just going to ask, I assume I can’t cancel home delivery, I can’t just walk in the store and pick from there?

Store and Warehouse stock is separate, so to pick your Online/Call Centre order up from a store it would have to be delivered there first, and this follows the same timelines as your home delivery.
Only when ordering in-store can you get the phone on the day and avoid waiting on delivery, but that would have been dependent on local stock which may not be there for the 1TB model.
