Missing Apple Watch 10 order

Hi there,
I ordered an Apple Watch 10 with sport loop and 24mth Apple fitness yesterday.
EE managed to take the £30 deposit that was required, sent me an email confirming receipt of that payment for the watch but hasn’t sent confirmation of the order number to me at all. Checked my EE account today to see ‘Your account is £30 in credit at the moment but don’t worry as we’ll apply this amount to your next bill’ Eh??!!!! Tried calling 2x, both times on hold for 20+ minutes before losing the will to live and giving up.
What is going on? Where is my order number? I was aware that the wait time for delivery is 28+ days but I would have expected at least a order confirmation with a number and something confirming my new contract too.

This is an ongoing issue I have had with EE since first joining. When I first placed an order for a phone got all the details to say its been accepted but when you log into your account to view the order days later there is no order. Same happened to me again when I just placed another order for an accessory. Order has been accepted, received multiple messages from DPD and EE about the order but again when I log into my account there is no order and the tracking details from DPD return with an error saying it can't be found. How hard is it to add an order to your systems, the only company I know that do this annoying thing. Quite ridiculous really.

Hey there @al2025, with our online order tracker this is just to give an outline of where it's at between accepted and dispatched.
Once your device has been dispatched, you should get the details to track this over at dpd.co.uk, but this will have a unique tracking number to use with them.
Your initial XK order reference number is purely for our systems.
