I decided to take an additional line today and had a great offer on the EE app as a long term customer.
The app has an issue and doesn’t let me compete the transaction says technical difficulties and to call EE.
when I called EE they are giving me the same deal for more money and are not matching the price I am getting on the app and their website. I’ve even explained to the agent I can’t send screenshots of the deal I am getting and he said they can’t do anything and it’s my problem not sure how that makes sense that’s it’s my problem.
you can’t advertise the price and not honour it very disappointing feels like they are trying to get extra money off me when on the phone to them.

I know it can be frustrating when things aren't working as expected, and I'm disappointed that our team wasn't able to match the offer you've seen. As they weren't able to match this, it must be a special online only offer.
My advice would be to try and process the deal through your main online account if the EE app is still giving you some trouble. If the same error occurs, then please try a different device or web browser to see if this does the trick.
If you're no further forward after trying these steps, then please speak with our technical support team directly. They'll be able to run some checks on your account and work on getting a resolution in place for you.
