MISSING ORDER NUMBER

Hi i ordered a new phone on saturday, made them promise it would be delivered on Monday (today) as i am going abroad tomorrow - i got a confirmation email with no order number, so i cant track the order. what do i do? i need it delivered today.

Welcome to the community,

What phone did you order, colour and storage size?

You will receive confirmation of delivery from DPD the evening before delivery and one on the day of delivery with a one hour window.

This is not customer service and there is no access to accounts, you would have to ring customer service.

I got a tracking number from a customer service agent: xxxxxxxxxxx

but tracker says its the wrong format, what is the right format?

iphone 14, starlight, 128 gig. My phone was stolen, which they knew, so a text message would be useless. Why is the tracking number missing from the confirmation email - seems to be a problem for a lot of people. 

The agent i spoke to told me i had a Monday delivery slot so i dont know why i didnt receive a tracking number.

@IZZY1996  you don’t get a tracking number when you place an order because device has to be allocated to you first.  This isn’t done when you place the order what you get a confirmation of order with an order number starting with XKN or XKO.   You receive a tracking number once a device has been allocated to you.  

Can you create a DPD account online and use the same email address you use with EE, from there you can see if an order is out for delivery or even a pending delivery.  

And as you say you made them promise you’ll have it Monday.  Unfortunately delivery’s don’t work on what you make someone promise.   More so when they don’t work in distribution and have no control over it.

well i made them promise - and they informed me i had a monday delivery slot so...
