Another year another wait… I know this is technically not EE’s Fault but why am I waiting “more than 28 days” for a handset.
The same issue last year with the 13 Pro Max and the Apple Watch.
I don’t understand how this issue cannot be rectified year on year. I use my upgrade anytime, I timed it this year so that my contract would be up bang on release date but now I’m waiting a month again.
I was asked on the phone today while trying to get an order number or at least a confirmation, why not just get the Pro, we have lots in stock… because that’s not the phone I, or by the looks of it most of us want?
sorry for the rant

Sorry but it's a bit disingenuous to say it's a first come first served basis, when online orders put through on launch day (9/9) weren't processed until 2 days later? I ordered mine at 1pm on the dot on launch day, and I've still got no idea if my order has even been confirmed, I've only got an XKO number which doesn't work on the tracker.
To make things just that bit more frustrating, every single person I've spoken to at EE has given me outright false information throughout the whole process. I was told to expect the DPD text on release day when in fact no device had been allocated for my order! Taking a day off work to wait for a package that I still don't know is ever going to come.
Absolute shambles

This seems to be the standard experience. I was told mine hadn’t been allocated yet when I rang on Friday, and the customer service agent would message me on Monday to say if it had by then or not and ring me when it does. I’ve heard nothing.

I've not even got that far, I only know mine hasn't been allocated because one of the agents sent me a screenshot of their portal, where I could see in real time that he was still giving me incorrect information

So basically I’m paying extra monthly to have upgrade anytime but realistically I can do that, just another example of EE breaking their own terms
