Another year another wait… I know this is technically not EE’s Fault but why am I waiting “more than 28 days” for a handset.
The same issue last year with the 13 Pro Max and the Apple Watch.
I don’t understand how this issue cannot be rectified year on year. I use my upgrade anytime, I timed it this year so that my contract would be up bang on release date but now I’m waiting a month again.
I was asked on the phone today while trying to get an order number or at least a confirmation, why not just get the Pro, we have lots in stock… because that’s not the phone I, or by the looks of it most of us want?

You have answered your own question.
Everyone wants the Pro Max so there is a long wait. It's called supply and demand. Apple can never keep up with demand. To a point they do this deliberately to keep the hype up.
It's a popular phone which a lot of people want because Apple users tend to change to the new version every year. If you are used to this and it happens to you every year I don't see why you are suprised.
This won't be rectified until Apple decides to max produce the phone fully before releasing it

I guess maybe I have, it still doesn’t help my frustrations
started at launch date, then 14 days, now more than 28 days.
and yes you are right it keeps the hype, but I’m sure I’m not the only one that is irritated and will continue to be.

@Davidhchef123 It’s about to get worse with another 20 countries about to have the 14 range released. Apple just can not produce enough devices for launch day and then struggle to keep up with demand especially when other networks around the world have their iPhones releases. Apple don’t start max production them until a month or so before release. They don’t want any getting out before release.

Yeah it makes sense that they would want that to happen and I guess they know they’re still going to get the money regardless

On the plus side, by the time you get the phone, Apple will have rolled out updates to fix all of the launch day bugs - and it may even be pre-installed (depending on the batch). That should save some headache that us early adopters have encountered.

Is there anyway of getting an estimated date? I ordered mine on the 13th, so I didn't expect to get it on launch day, but I am currently dealing with an 11 that has a busted speaker and a battery that lasts a couple of hours at most. Being (unexpectedly) told when you order it will arrive on launch day, it not, and then radio silence to when it is due isn't the best customer experience.

Has anyone received there email for the iPhone 14 pro max yet my ultra is delivering tomorrow maybe they will both come together like last time .

Thing is it worry’s me as well as I’ve done my early upgrade as part of my contract but the lady didn’t seem to convinced as to when I will have my 14 pro max as all out of stock. She did say it shouldn’t take to long and if it does run over 28 we will advise you but form reading the threads it seems this may not arrive before the 28 days. I ge r what people are saying about supply and demand but if you are impatient like me it does no good for your stress levels 😂😂 oh well will just have to wait now
