Hi £30 got taken from my account yesterday upfront but my order was cancelled but I still haven’t received the £30 back into my bank account

This has also happened to me. after it took the money out my account i received a text that my order was cancelled. i’ve then reordered it but still haven’t received the money back from the first order. Also does anyone know when customer service will be open cause i can’t reach anyone from ee and ive been trying for a while now?

If it's a pending charge then EE haven't actually taken it and it'll drop off within a week usually.

no i haven’t received the phone. on the second order i recieved an email confirmation but the tracking doesn’t work so ive been trying to contact ee just to make sure the order has gone through and its successful but ive made no progress

@Melbell2024 Refunds take between 7-10 days but you need to allow more time because it’s Christmas.

Have you had confirmation that this order has definitely been cancelled, or have you heard nothing and assumed it didn't go through?
What was it you have ordered here, too?

i got a text that the order was cancelled the following morning without an explanation. No mention that my money will be refunded and it hasn’t.

Thanks for confirming that @VD515, what was it you purchased here?
Also when you check your bank statement does this show as fully extracted, or is it still a pending transaction?
If it's the latter, we won't have actually taken the money, and this should be released back to your bank within 5 working days.
