Hi
Managed to get an upgrade order placed on live chat.. requested it be sent to my local EE.
Confirmation email says the following
Your delivery details
You chose home delivery to:
EE, 107, THE BORDER, TOWN CENTRE, TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE, TF34AE, UK
When we deliver your order to you, we’ll need to confirm your identity. Please have either your passport or driving licence photo card ready to show the courier.
Obviously it's not a home delivery.. do I just ignore that wording and wait for the store to let me know when it's arrived?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @ktan88
Everything above sounds right to me! The store will let you know once your order arrives and is ready for collection.

Thank you for waiting with me, Karl. I have checked the order details and address is same as you have received in confirmation.
I would like to inform you that the order shows “home delivery,” it usually means the courier will deliver it to the store, and the store staff will receive it on your behalf. The ID check is typically for home deliveries, so you won’t need to be there personally.
As soon as the order is shipped, you’ll receive the tracking details via text. Once the item is delivered, you’ll also get a notification. Please keep an eye on your updates and track the order using the tracking link after it has been shipped. Hope this clarifies?
Hopefully all is good then?

Hi Linzi,
Thanks for the reply.
I was only concerned as it says "home delivery" and not "store delivery" .. was reading some horror stories of the store not accepting as the DPD driver still required a PIN as it shows as a home delivery.
Sorry for confusion, it's stressing me out and worried there will be an issue

If the team has checked everything and assured you there will be no issues, I'm confident there won't be @ktan88, but I do understand your concern with the confirmation showing as "home delivery".
The only thing I could advise would be to cancel your order and place this online directly yourself, specifically selecting store delivery.

Thanks Linzi
If the worst case does happen and they require a pin, I wonder if I could meet the DPD driver at the EE store with my ID and PIN..
