Well done EE, you done it again!

A few weeks ago you failed to deliver my new upgrade three days in a row because you didn't have my full address on the package, hence DPD couldn't find me.

Yesterday, I stupidly put my trust in EE, gave you the benefit of the doubt. Spoke to one of your advisors over the phone, agreed to upgrade to an iPhone 13 and was assured that the correct address was on file, and the problems of the last few weeks wouldn't happen again...it has!

Waited in all day today, phone due to be delivered at 15:28, no delivery, phone gone back to DPD. They say that they couldn't deliver because the DPD driver could not find our address.

Thank you EE for wasting my time.

All sorted! After 4 failed attempts over a few months, I have finally got my phone, but it wasn't delivered.

Phone was due to be delivered by DPD between 14:10-15:10, and so I took the initiative to stand out in the street, in the pouring rain, and flag down every and any van that came passed. Finally, a silver van came by, the driver looking lost, turned out to be my DPD driver looking for our house.

Upshot is that by providing him with proof of I.D. (driving license) in the street, he was happy to hand over my phone. So, all sorted, just 24 months to go until have to endure it all over again.

I'm sorry to hear this, @AdamWC.

 

Are you able to see your order in the DPD app? Does the correct address show?

I can see the order in my DPD app and yes, it has the correct name and address. Last two times this has happened, it also had the correct address on the app, but the driver only had my name and street name, no house name.

If the address was correct this time, I'm not sur why the delivery would fail.

 

It may be worth speaking to DPD to see if they're able to leave any special instructions.
