I ordered a new phone for store collection a couple of days ago and it has been on dispatched since yesterday. Looking at the order tracker online it only shows three stages: Order Confirmed, Dispatch Expected and Dispatched. Will this show delivery, or is just a matter of waiting for a text/email?
Also, it's for an additional line on the contract, porting a number from another network. EE asked for the PAC when the order was made and it said the request would be made to port the number. Could this end up happening before the phone has been delivered, meaning we don't have the new phone, but the old phone won't receive any messages. The number being transferred is the only one showing on the order confirmation

@cpower The store should contact you when it’s there for collection and your number will not be migrated until you’ve activated the EE Sim card in the device. It will then take up to 24 hours to migrate the number over to the new EE Sim card.

With the online tracker, it will show up to the dispatch stage, as once dispatched you should get a text from DPD with delivery tracking information.
If the phone dispatched yesterday, it should be delivered to the store today if it hasn't already. As @Chris_B mentioned once ready for collection the store would text you to let you know.
If you didn't get the DPD text, there could be an issue with the contact number set for the order, I would recommend giving us a quick call on 150 when you can or message us in app, as one of our guides can then provide you the DPD tracking to confirm if its been delivered today.
As long as it has been delivered it will be available to collect with photo-ID.
