I would be careful having your replacement delivered. It may end up with the same driver.

Yes that did occur to me, I have heard from someone else in Stafford the same thing has happened this week (empty box) must be getting confident didnt bother putting anything in it at all. Same scenario, delivery delayed by a day or so despite a text to confirm delivery. Hopefully they have sacked him by now.

It’s a joke. That driver Will, must have cleaned up. I spoke with DPD and they are not interested. All I got was ‘so what, it’s not our problem, take it up with EE’ Disgusting response from them. We will be having our replacement delivered to the EE shop. I hope yours arrives okay.

EE customer care team can be just as useless to be honest

Agree, however I did speak with Chris from the customer care team last night who was rather helpful. Doesn’t redeem all the negative issues I’ve had over the years though.

It's rare. last time I had something resolved, Someone higher up had to listen and read all the communication between me and them and then they phoned me to offer apologies at the service I had been provided. They then offered money off my bill. Shouldn't need to go that far, I'm in the same position again now though. They will never learn.

Did you get your replacement okay?

Hi Gareth, yes got a new phone, opened it while the driver was on the doorstep, I agree that guy must have cleaned up over a few days then probably disappeared. Short term hit then runs away, I knew straight away when I picked up the package it was light and there probably wasnt a phone inside but you hope dont you?
