Delayed DPD Delivery

Alexandra_McK27

What a joke, I ordered my mobile phone and when DPD "attempted" to deliver they failed, saying nobody was home - despite them sending a photo of the cars in the driveway & there being 5 people in the house. I organised re-delivery and on the date of delivery I had no updates on my item being dispatched just that it was still at the depot. I finally received a notification late last night saying that my parcel was delayed due to unexpected issue 'in my area'.

I have tried using their online chat function to get clarity on when to expect my device but they keep saying that they need to initiate a parcel search & only EE can do this. Any advice?

Hi @Alexandra_McK27

You'll just have to wait for DPD.

Unexpected issues normally means they don't have enough drivers for your delivery today. You'll receive a text when it's out for delivery, alternatively complain to DPD but at the weekend you'll probably get the AI agent.

Thanks
