I’ve just tried to take delivery of a Switch 2 and was asked for a PIN code which I’ve never received.
Checking the order the mobile number on the order isn’t mine, any of my families (all on the same EE account) or any number I know. It’s a guy at the other end of the county (I called him) who I’ve never met.
Speaking to EE they’ve said that the only thing I can do is e-mail the relevant team with a response time of two working days. Does anyone know if there’s a faster way to get through to someone? None of the menu or contact options seem remotely relevant and the people you speak to say they can’t see the order.

Answering my own question in case it’s helpful for anyone else. There is a number you can call, though not on the website. It’s 08000790062 - they were super helpful and can update the number DPD have directly in the DPD system.

I imagine how disappointing it must have been to not be able to take delivery. Fingers crossed everything goes well when they try again.

Hi have the same issue, it was dispatched yesterday have no tracking at all probs due to it all being in mobile. The number for my contact which they will use for DPD is one I’ve asked them to change several times and didn’t, il call them soon as lines open. How quick did you get a new pin after they changed it if you don’t mind me asking

Since you posted, have you spoken to our mobile guides and had the number changed?
If you have the DPD app, you should be able to check for the PIN by using the registered email address and delivery address.

The same thing just happened to me with my partner’s phone number being on the delivery and he was at work, worst part is I now have the code 10 min later but they won’t deliver again until Monday!

Just to update the EE guide did change the number in DPD and email address however the driver came and on his PDA my old number still showed and couldn’t send a pin to me. It is now arranged for tomorrow I have had a text and email to confirm the same but still no pin
i do hope that tomorrow the pin is sent to me otherwise I won’t be happy. In terms of the app it doesn’t show at the top with a pin as says does not match the parcel info but it does match so I won’t be able see the pin
