Cancel Roaming pass

I took out the £10 roaming pass add on for a recent trip to Italy - I have a monthly pay SIM only contract.  The instructions on stopping this on the website by texting STOP ROAMING PASS to 150 now that I’m back in the UK don’t seem to work as I’m just getting a text back which says my pass has been set up, not confirmation that this option has been removed

Try texting STOP ROAM FURTHER to 150.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Thanks for that advice - I’d tried this before and this is the txt message below that comes back - it doesn’t really confirm that the roaming pass is cancelled?

Hi Richard. Your device is set up to be used for roaming in any country.

If you'd like to restrict this to the EU only roaming (this also means you can't make international calls while in the UK) reply ROAM EU, but if you'd prefer to roam in the EU and to call anywhere when in the UK or EU, then reply ROAMEU INT

That's a reply to ROAMING to 150, not a reply to a STOP.

This is why I reported this as a bug as I did text STOP ROAM FURTHER to 150 and what I pasted is what came back as a reply

Hi @rhepneil.

If you're unable to remove the pass using the text method, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team.

They'll be able to help you to remove this.
