Back order google pixel

Recently ordered the Google Pixel 9 Pro and haven’t been given a date to receive yet. I was told at first 14 days then after 28 but I was also told it would be within that time so it should come earlier if it all works out. Does anyone know how often the stock arrives and how likely it is to come earlier. Not in desperate need for it but if I knew it would take so long I would have just gone to a different company

@Staples2  Yes you are right, I was referring to the wording used on this forum and our website and why it is that way but If a guide has used the wording you mentioned that is incorrect as they should be using the "expected dispatch within" and I apologise that it has caused any frustration.

Though as I say I would not worry that the phone wont come within the expected timescales you were told, as the large majority of orders will be but I appreciate it is important expected timescales are set correctly so thank you for highlighting this.
