I have recently placed an order for an iPhone 14 pro max on Wednesday (28/12) and was told that my phone was in stock and would be delivered within 2 days. Now within the tracking portal it is saying my order is back logged. Is there anyway to resolve this?

The current guidance is showing 'Usually despatched within 7 days' 

Once the order has been dispatched DPD will be in touch to arrange delivery.

I’ve still not had any correspondence or update about the order. When I spoke to the the member Customer Service to confirm the order she told me that the phone was in stock and would be delivered within 2 days.

The 7 day estimate that @Leanne_T gave you is the latest we have. Was the person you spoke to over the phone able to confirm that they can see the order?

I first made the order online, then was asked to call EE as further information was needed to process the order. When I called the advisor put the order through and said that the order was confirmed and the phone was in stock so should be with me within 2 days. the online portal hasn’t been updated since then.

As soon as your order is being processed for delivery you will be notified. 

If you wish for an update regarding your order please give us a call on 150, however, I would recommend allowing the 7 day estimate provided.
