Apple Watch 46mm Titanium Gold delivery times

I ordered the 46mm version on the 30th, when it said delivery within 7 days.

Right now, my order says delivery is usually dispatched within 3 days. 
On the website it now says delivery in more than 28 days (if ordered now).

What’s the likenesses of my order being dispatched in 3 days?

I'm disappointed to hear that this is going to take a bit longer than expected, we always aim to give the best estimate we can, but sometimes demand and stock levels can differ from what we initially expect.

Orders are always dispatched on a first come, first served basis, so rest assured we're doing all we can to get this to you as soon as possible.

Please keep an eye on the tracker as well as your texts, and you'll be notified once this is with DPD.

Hi @RitaRepulsa 

The delivery will be based on the guidance you had at the time of placing your order, so you should still receive it around 7 days of the 30th September. 

Any new delivery guidance showing on our website is solely for customers placing a new order, which won't affect orders you have already placed.

Unfortunately, it’s now past the 7 day mark, and the order on my account says “DPD: sorry there’s been a delay. We’ll email you once it’s dispatched.”

so maybe I will be waiting longer than 28 days after all 🙁

Is there still absolutely no update on the stock of these watches?

I’m reading the replies to the questions in here, and I keep seeing “to expect delivery within the time frame it stated the day you ordered.”

Cool. But for those of us that have gone past that time, how long do we wait? There is no communication at all, no emails, nothing. Are these days just estimates to get people to order? because I genuinely wouldn’t have ordered if I knew the wait would be so long.

I appreciate that this is an Apple issue, but our contracts and business is with EE not Apple, and it would be nice to feel remembered and valued.

I'm so sorry that we've left you feeling this way.

I can assure you that your order will not be forgotten about, and the next update you'll get will be when stock is assigned to your order. Until that point, there are no other updates we have to give I'm afraid. 

DPD will then supply all the delivery details once they have your parcel.
