Hello,
Is anyone else having issues with the delivery of the apple watch ultra from EE?
I originally ordered my watch on 2nd of October. I called on the 12th to check if there was ETA and the chap I spoke too, told me if I cancelled my order for my trail loop and ordered the alpine loop instead I would have it in a week. I was such an idiot to believe this.
It's 3 weeks on now from my second order and still no update or ETA. Now I get a strap I don't really want and no idea when I'm getting my watch.
Not cool EE =(

@egeorgiou Every band type of the ultra says “Expect despatch in more than 28 days”. You might of changed band types and you might get the one your have on order now sooner it’s just at present it depends on how many apple make that are going to going to be sent to EE and where you are in that queue to receive that model type. There is a huge backlog of orders for all types not just with EE but all sellers including Apple.

I was told by EE if I cancelled my 2 week-in order and changed bands I would have it in a week. That was not true as it 3 weeks in now and waiting now.
Not ok for EE to do that! @EE can you look at that and comment why this happened?

this has nothing to do with dpd deliveries
the agent I spoke to suggested cancelling my order and assured me it would arrive in a week. Why? Do the EE agents get commissions on orders they take?
if I didn’t cancel my order it would be more than 28days now

yes, I was fully expecting to wait. And yes, the watches have a 28 wait now.
The agent assured me that it would arrive in 7days on cancelling my already 2 week in order.

Sorry doesn’t come off like that when it’s 3 weeks on and no communication or eta now.
You shouldn’t assure a customer on something that you can’t deliver. That leads to disappointment and distrust.
if I didn’t take the assurance and didn’t cancel my original order I would surely have my order delivered by now.
Do you not agree?

So I got mine today. I had to call up yesterday and cancel the small green strap and ordered the medium green strap that was in stock. 24 hours later it was here. Just a tip if anyone wants to try that. I’ve purchased the orange strap second hand for £50 online. So in the end I didn’t have to wait another estimated 4+ weeks
