Is it known at this stage by EE, the allocation of the various iPhones they will have for pre-order?
Last year there was some confusion around this and people who pre-ordered as soon as it was possible to do so, were given assurances they would receive devices on launch day, yet the devices were only delivered after a significant delay. I wont go into details of the various excuses given, but its fair to say there was a wide and varied set of answers given as to why there were issues in delivering devices as promised.
Will we be able to have confidence in a delivery date of the 16th if given, or are there likely to be supply problems again? i am considering pre-ordering again this year, but can only do so if the delivery can be relied upon as i go away on holiday the day after launch

There will be issued like every single year.
EE won't know of allocation until they receive them

@soupladel A pre-order is in never a guarantee of receiving a device on launch day. If your going on holiday soon after personally I wait.
EE don’t control how many orders they’ll get so how can that guarantee that anyone who orders will get it on launch day when they don’t know what device type is more popular and how many of each model type they’ll get.
