free gift claiming issues

hi has anyone got any advice got sony experia 1.5 and came with the free tripod for phone as free gift however being passed from pillar to post as sony saying its an issue with ee and èe saying its there fault 8nweeks down the line still no gift have contacted ee and sony but not getting much help really as sony says it needs confirmation from eè and ee denying this has anyone got any suggestions as its my sons phone and he would like his gift  ee not helpful with the issue at all and getting no response from sony emails either any helpful ideas please

What did the T&C say. Normally they say gifts are subject to stock etc.
