buy handset outright

I have been on EE sim only for 4 years (happy with what I have needs my needs) and would like to buy a handset out right. Can I buy a new phone directly from an EE store and tranffer my sim over to it. i don't want to change my current SIM only plan and want to stay with EE

@BJS09 : You may buy a PAYG phone outright from EE & put your SIM in it. You will be fairly limited in choice as EE don't do many PAYG models. You might be better off using an online retailer like Amazon.
