EE have decided as with Bt that they will now charge roaming charges. They offer a Roaming pass at £15 a month . But what they do not say untill you bill arrives is that they will charge you for a what they call
Roam Abroad Pass at £5.32 a month . which thay add on to your bill making it £20 32. and not £15 .When you ring them they say the bill is correct and you will get the money back on you next bill. it is because you have gone in to two billing periods..
This sounds like creative accounting how many people will not know about this and just pay . They are taking £5.32 which they keep untill your next bill from your bank account. They then deduct it from you next bill .Therfore thy are getting the interest on £5.32 and not you. I have checked all thier on line content but am still at a loss as to why they want the £5.32..
Time i looked around for another provider after 24 years EE you need to get a grip. you used to be number one but you will not be for long.

Hi @OAPPeved,
That doesn't sound right to me. The 'Roam Abroad Pass' is £15/month.
I think the £5.32 charge you are referring to must have been incurred before the pass was added, or it was a mistake and will be removed from your bill within 24 hours.
I would suggest that you get in touch with the mobile care team by calling 150 from your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any phone.
Thanks,
Alex

This sounds like a partial month charge, which can be easily checked by the dates on your bill.
What date did you add the pass? What date each month is your bill produced?
Post an anonymised screenshot of your bill if necessary.

@OAPPeved Contract customers of EE have had to purchase roaming add ons to use their allowance in the EU for over a year now so nothing new about this. You’ve been billed in accordance for when you purchased this add on to when you stopped it. You had a billing cycle when had this and you stopped this before the next billing cycle.
