Hi All,
I'm finally eligible to upgrade my contract, but I'm not getting the option "Essential SIM Unlimited Max", just the non-Max version for £30 that has a cap of 100 MBps. Why am I not seeing all the options I have listed if I go to "add additional contract"?
Also, are there any caps except for the 600 GB/month to be considered non-personal use?
The reason why I am upgrading: this will be my failover strategy when my landlord doesn't pay the internet bill, won't be a primary internet connection, and adding an extra cost of £60 for a mobile router is a little bit out of reach for my tiny budget. But a £33 option for "Essential SIM Unlimited Max" is something I would go for.
Thanks in advance.

Just upgraded to £36 All rounder, think it's a better deal because sometimes I watch football matches so it will be a great value for money + failover strategy with possibility of being my only internet connection when I move to a new place soon. Even though I live in YouTube Premium mostly, too bad it's not on the extras list, but this is also great. The EE community will be the first to know 🙂

Hello @garrinchae ,
Welcome to the community,
Have you tried speaking to customer service? It will be the mobile upgrade team, they should be able to take a look and see what they can offer. I always find it the best way and you may find a better deal. Good luck.

You wanna say that I can actually negotiate a customized and cheaper plan? 🙂
I reached out to them via the EE app, but they're not very responsive and I can't allocate 2 hours to have a friendly chitchat with them. But if you're suggesting that I can actually negotiate a cheaper plan, I will go for it. I'm currently paying £25 /month, but I need unlimited data and unlimited speed, no extras, just the basics. If I can get it for the price I'm currently paying, or slightly increased, I would go for it.

@garrinchae , you should not have to wait 2 hours for someone to answer the phone and speak to you, it should take no more than 20 minutes and can be even a lot less.
What I meant was, that they may be able to offer a plan that suits you, which you have not found when checking the upgrade plans. I always ring customer service, never used chat, myself, at least worth a try.
