Today I spent 60 minutes on chat exploring an upgrade. I was quoted one deal and by the time I'd got through all the questions and answers the guide the told me that deal was no longer available and that very same deal was now an additional £10.
It just seems so unfair that a deal can change that quickly

Unless the deal didn't exist then yes that seems odd. There is no customer account access on these forums. It might be worth calling EE on 150.

From what I can work out they discounted the phone which offset a better plan.
What's really sneaky is they claimed transparency by showing me the 'best' deal available now but didn't actually point out it was different.
I'll ring up and see what they can do, thanks for replying
