Student discount and 6 month sale

Hi, just a bit confused with the student discount. I’m hoping to go with the 24 month simo contract that’s currently on sale for the first 6 months at £14 and then £28 for the rest of the contract. I have my student discount added on top of this but rather than the discount being worked out from the £28, it’s taking from the £14 and only discounting £2.80. Will the discount increase after 6 months to 5.60?

@Pingu17   The discount is worked out on the. 6 month price then after that when the tariff goes to its full cost of £28 your discount will then be from the £28.  

 6 months is £14 and your discount is 20% so that reduces the cost to £11.20 for 6 months.  That’s minus £2.80 as that’s the 20% discount you get. 

after six months the tariff goes to its true cost of £28 and your 20% discount makes that tariff £22.40 

Your only being shown what the first 6 months will be at present,  they’ll not show the cost after the 6 months as you need to get to that 6 months.
