Student Discount

I am a student and have an account with EE. How do I apply the 20% student discount to my account?

Discount codes may be applied at PoS when buying a new contract or upgrading or if it wasn't by calling CS within 30 days of purchase. They cannot be applied mid-term.

I have bought my phone on an existing plan two weeks back and wanted to add the student discount. I bought the phone from a store and when i went to the store and asked to add the discount they said it cannot be done as it should be done at the time of purchase online. Any solution for this?

I've looked into this and it is correct that the discount can only be added at the point of purchase, it cannot be added at a later date.
