Hi @Gazjamtreble

Welcome to the community.

Yes you cancel when you return to the UK, if you cancel during your monthly billing period you’ll be charged £15 for the full month, not just for the days you had the pass. Please see our How do I get the Roam Abroad Pass? for more details 🙂

Before travelling, please also text ROAMING to 150 to make sure roaming is activated on your number.

Hope you have a lovely time.

Leanne.

Hi,

I pay for my phone and my son’s phone. He cancelled his roaming pass but I have been debited another £15 even though we are no longer abroad. Can I get a refund please? Please help.

Hi @Alexmp,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

When was the pass cancelled in relation to your billing cycle?

James

I have also been charged for an additional pass after cancelling the day I got home.

Hi @JackJackJack1,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Was your billing date before you cancelled your pass?

James

Hi James,

I believe my billing date is the 15 September and I cancelled on 28/29 August.

Thanks, Jack

Hi @JackJackJack1,

What dates are the charges listed as covering on your bill?

BEWARE when buying the Roaming Pass.   If your time abroad spans the date of your monthly billing cycle you will be charged additional fees.  E.g.   I added the Roaming Pass on 11th of the Month.  My time abroad was from 18th - 25th of the same month. I cancelled the Roaming pass on 9th of the following month.  Having read (and reread) the info on the EE Website I was sure that the Roaming Pass was active for a rolling 30 day period (at least that is what the website says)  I therefore assumed that activating it on the 11th of the month would mean it was active for 30 days... in other words good up until 10th of following month.  NOT SO...  EE charged me a roaming pro-rata rate for the period 18th to 31st and then a full £15 charge for the following month. However, even thats wrong because my billing cycle is on 23rd of the month and so the £15 full charge would actually end when the roaming pass is removed at end of that billing cycle.  Confusing... is an under statement..  I did complain and EE have graciously waved the pro-rata charges.  However,  going forward I will have to ensure that if I go abroad my dates must both start and end within my billing cycle to mean that a 1 month Roaming Pass is all I need to cover  my trip abroad.  Clearly "a rolling 30 day period" should mean that if the pass is activaed and stopped within the same 30 days there should only be a charge of £15 (soon to go up to £25 I believe).

Hello, i cancelled as i thought i could still use it just not get charged for the next month but it said i couldn’t use it anymore, i thought i paid for the whole month to use it for the whole month, can you please refund me the other £15 i paid, i bought another roaming pass please
