If I buy a roaming pass that starts in one billing period and ends in the next, do I only pay the £15 once?

You pay the full rate 🙂

Hi @PM29,
The roaming pass is initially charged pro-rata, and then monthly. For example, if you added it now, you would be charged pro-rate up until your next bill date. From that point onwards, you are charged the full £15 per month.
Would you be charged more than £15 for using it across two billing periods - yes, you will. £15 + pro-rate from when you added it.
In cases like this it might be cheaper to settle with the £2.29/day charge instead.
Thanks,
Alex

Thank you. And if I cancel before the second billing date do I pay the full month or pro-rata for the days used?

@PM29 : No, you will be charged for 2 billing periods, i.e. 2 x £15.

@PM29 can you confirm you were only charged pro rata for the first period? There is direct contradiction from @Alex_M and @XRaySpeX
EE have nothing on their website to clarify either, and their wording is unclear. I can't find any specific terms for the add-on. If they do charge me the full rate twice in pretty sure it can be argued as they did not make the definition clear.
But if you can confirm either way that would be great!

Yes. Pro rata for the days in first billing period and then £15 for second.
