Bought a Roam Further Pasd for my trip to Calufornia. It's on my account but sadly it doesn't work. No texts, no calls no data. I've used it before on trips to California but it's not working now. I've followed all the actions on the advice page but still no joy. HELP!

A billing add-on is a separate piece to the roaming facility which enables your phone to use local networks in foreign countries.
It's not clear from your post if the roaming facility is enabled, without it you will not have the use of mobile network functionality outside the UK.
Adding a billing bundle doesn't enable this automatically, did you activate this before leaving the UK or has roaming worked for you previously?

@bristolian is right, you must have Roaming enabled to be able to use your add-on.
Did you activate roaming before leaving the UK?
This can be done by texting ROAMING to 150 or by speaking with our customer care team.

If you didn't enable roaming before leaving the UK, then your phone cannot connect to a local network abroad - this will prevent any mobile-network functionality which includes sending & receiving text messages. The only way to resolve this is to call from another phone or a web-calling app.
However - can you clarify what you mean by "after successfully using in September"? Have you used international roaming on this phone before? If so, then it should still be active and the issue may be with the local network your phone is trying to use.
Manually selecting an alternative local network is standard advice in this scenario.
