Refer a Friend

Hi

I just joined EE and in the welcome email (from noreply@ee.co.uk) there's a section that says: 

"THANKS FOR JOINING US. We’re so glad you’ve decided to become a customer. Now you can refer other people to join us and earn yourself, and them, a £25 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card each. Just head to our Refer-a-friend page, give us a few details and we’ll send you a unique link that you can share with your friends."

However:

• The "refer-a-friend" bit in the text (it's underlined) is not actually a link.
• If I click the "FAQ" button, it directs to a PDF from 2019. (ee.co.uk/content/dam/ee-help/help-pdfs/PAYM-refer-a-friend-29.07.19.pdf)
• The PDF says to use "ee.co.uk/auth/refer-a-friend" - but that redirects to "ee.co.uk/shop" (which has 3 buttons: Upgrade. Shop. Manage Account

Please can someone advise me on how I can actually refer a friend?

It's the modern way of doing it.

People like to be able to search and find solutions.

Some people like to provide answers to benefit others.

It takes the pressure off the customer service teams too.

I think if everyone had to call up to find an answer, your post would be a complaint about how you had to wait "an age" to speak to customer services.

Yes, I note that your post was from 2024. And today we have AI to ask questions and get answers.
