Hi,
I upgraded my phone yesterday to the Google 6a with the £200 prepaid card. I went for the unlimited data. A confirmation email still hasn't been sent so I called ee today. The lady I spoke to said the phone has been ordered, before getting off the phone I thought I would double check to redeem the card I need to wait 15 days after I receive the phone and it will come through as a link and it's a 'virtual' card. I also asked if it'll come to my phone number (the one being upgraded) or the other number or the account. She said it goes to the other number (my dad's) is that correct? 🤔 She also came back and said the card is sent out to my house? So there's a bit of confusion really 🤔
I'm feeling uneasy about receiving this deal as last time I upgraded i went for the black Friday TV deal where everything went wrong and I have a horrible feeling it's going to be the same with this phone and card.

The redemption text will be sent to the lead phone number on the account 15 days after purchase. I can confirm it is a digital card so nothing will be posted out to you.

As the code is sent to the lead phone is there a way for me to use it rather than the person with that phone? As the prepaid card is for myself. Thanks!

Hi there I confirmed my prepaid card and put my details in but put in wrong address. Will this affect me when I need to use it online ?

Yes, this could cause an issue with some retailers if the billing addresses don't match.
I'd recommend contacting the card services team on 0331 630 5412 for assistance.
