Hi, I am looking to purchase the Nreal Air augmented reality glasses but I am unable to buy it. I'm not an EE customer, I just created an account, so I wanted to ask how I can possibly go about it

Visit on of the shops in the pic below and see if they will order them for you.

But also read some of the other posts on here, seems not all find it easy to get hold of them.

@KingKwa  The stores listed have demo units but you can go to any EE store and order these through the store.  The store will have to order them in for you.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

So, currently I am deaf, and communication is only by lip reading, the Nreal Air augmented reality glasses was said to be a ground breakthrough and will allow me to communicate without lip reading.

Now I am not a customer of EE, all I want to purchase is the glasses so I can work with less issues. But EE has been frustrating me all day, I have been to 3 shops in London, another shop in Milton Keynes, wanting to place an order but no one will do that for me, all they say is to call customer service. Now customer service too is telling me they can't sell it for me and worst of all, they ended up saying they don't have some. Meanwhile their website states that there is more in stock. Gosh, what a worse experience I have had.

Do you have any number I can contact to hear something sensible? And where can I raise complaints?

@KingKwa : You cannot buy an accessory online unless you already have a mobile phone or SIM contract from EE. You are expected to pay for it along with your existing EE mobile plan.

You can make a formal complaint to EE & if you don't get satisfaction after 8 weeks you can take it to EE's ADR provider. See Complaints code of practice and here is the Complaints Form at the foot of the page.

I know you can't buy accessories, I am okay with that, but my question is, why can't I place orders to pay for them outright at the stores? Then what are the stores for?

Hi @KingKwa

Welcome to the community.

Only existing customers can purchase through the website, but anyone can order in store. If the store you go to does not have stock, they can order through their sales system and you'll be contacted when they're ready to pick up in store.

I've sent you a private message to give you a little more information.

Chris

Hi, unfortunately I do not even know how to get Your private message, but as I said, I went to 4 stores, 3 stores were in London and one store in Milton Keynes, all of them said they can't place the order so I should call customer service. My dad has to be on the line for 20 minutes and they didn't say anything to us, all they said I need a contract before I can order it.

And in the end told me it isn't in stock while website says it is in stock.
