@XRaySpeX  Hi there,

I just used the magnifiing tool on your post and indeed it states all available physical stores that you can buy the Nreal Air from without contract, and I can see that the answer you gave was indeed an online enquiry, sorry for my misunderstanding.

@Daibo : The list of stores isn't exhaustive. Anyway you should be able to order it from any EE Store & if they don't stock it they'll order it in from 1 that does.

No clear answer.

I really don't understand why there are so many hoops we have to go through in order to spend money with EE to buy a product.  I did go to my 'local' store which is an hour away to ask about ordering a pair.  The sales assistant firstly told me he didn't know what they are.  When I explained what there are and how hard they are to buy in the UK he actually said the reason why they are hard to get is probably because they are not very good and not worth it.   He said I might have better luck if I travel to Manchester which would be an entire days round trip.  He asked for help from another sales assistant. The second assistant did know about them but insisted that the retail pack they received says you have to have a phone contract with at least 11 months to go and they cannot order in for me to buy outright if I am not an EE user.

Also why are there different prices displayed?  He said they are £399, one page on the EE website pages says £399 but when you go to the order page it says £340.99 to buy outright or £340 on contract.

All I want is to do is purchase a product and know what price I am paying.

@JonBoyW : Tell the store to use their Sales Plus system.

Hi @JonBoyW,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience when you visited your nearest EE store. @XRaySpeX is correct in saying any store can place an order for you using their Sales Plus system.

James

Thanks for the advice.  It still seams unfortunate that I have had to join an EE community group to find this out but I will try and see if they know about the Sales Plus system.  Do you know what the actual price is?

This is what the website says on one page :

How much are the glasses and where can I buy them?

Nreal Air AR Glasses cost £399.99. If you’re an EE customer, you may be eligible to add the glasses to your current plan and spread the cost over 11 months. If you’re not currently an EE customer, you can still purchase the glasses online as a one-off payment with home or store delivery.

Find my nearest store

but if you follow the link to 'Take me to Nreal Air' it states:

£340.99 Pay today

As I say it feels like a lot of hoops and really confusing.

Hi @JonBoyW,

The correct price to purchase them outright is £340.99.

Hope this helps.
