Hi I'm interested in the watch 5. Have an s22 and looking at prices Ee has it on sale at 24 pounds per month but much cheaper from Samsung. If I buy from Samsung will the watch work OK with my phone? Many thanks Drew

As I mentioned the GW5 when compared to the Gw3 looks a lot more refined, sophisticated..bezel ? What bezel ....you just adapt to using the "screen one" or just swipe...I've already forgotten about the...erm......what was it again.....oh yeah the bezel...

I got the Watch5 Pro on 26th of August, upgraded from Watch 46mm. Pro is a good watch, does everything well, however, if you are wanting to use a 4G plan from EE, they cannot currently provide it.

I get Error code 4001 every time.

It is a known issue, since the 31st of August, and they have not found a solution yet. There are multiple different error code being reported and the problem is with EE systems apparently.

If you don't want to use a 4G/lte contract with the watch, you can buy direct from Samsung. The Watch5 Bluetooth is on their site for £269 and from £7.48 a month for the 40mm and £289 orfrom £8.03 a month for 44mm. You can also get upto £50 for trading in your old watch. I got mine from Samsung and it was a quick and easy service.

Lastly, EE is still offering the watches with data plans, which they cannot actually provide a service for currently and they do not know when they might have a fix. Hopefully for me and everyone else with android watches they can in fact find a solution to fix it and soon.

Hi, can't I simply ask for EE to add the watch to my already existing account with them. So, the watch can share the data plan and call features as my mobile phone?

Must a separate contract be taken just for the watch? Please I would like to know as I have received one for my birthday and I would like to add it to my EE account.

Thank you.

Hello Leanne,

I have received the Galaxy watch 5 LTE from the US as a birthday present. Can I pair this watch to my existing EE contract so that I can call and answer to text messages using my watch?

Thank you,

Hi @Akuff.

You should be able to add a watch to your existing plan.

If you already have one, I'd recommend calling our Customer Care team to get this sorted.

Jon

I'm having an issue connecting my gw5 to the LTE network, I get an error that says EE does not offer mobile plans for your watch.

I use a Sony Experia 1iii, however I tried to set it up also on an s22ultra and got the same error code.

I spoke to Samsung direct and they said I DO NOT need to have a Samsung phone for it to work and that EE needs to activate my service.

I have bought a plan for the watch and can now see this in my account but still no joy.

Anything I'm missing here?

Hi @Tommy1992

Do you have a phone with EE on contract?
