I’ve tried for ages to activate my discovery plus but all I ever get is we are having technical issues. I’ve tried different days and times, I had the same problem on my last contract too … it’s never worked in years of me trying. 

How do I get around this?

I just fixed this, the PIN is a way to log you in. 

instead, log into your EE account and have it open in a tab. Then click the link they sent you to set up. You’ll bypass the PIN page (I did) and go straight to sign up where it is super easy 

Thanks for trying Brock2.  Unfortunately that's not working for me.  Even though the EE account is open and I'm logged in, when I click their link it still opens in a new tab and I get the same error message.

Update - I spent 3 hours on the app chat system and at last was able to get the discovery+ account activated. I knew there had to be someone capable of fixing it. So thankful for all Subhapriya’s help this afternoon. Hopefully EE find a way of improving this function.

Exactly the same pin issue for me.

I've been using Discovery+ successfully for well over a year through my EE contract. All of a sudden last night it stops working. 

8an this morning I get a text from EE saying "Hi from EE. We've removed your TNT Sports from discovery+ Inclusive Extra. You can manage your extras in the EE app. Thanks.".

5pm tonight I get another text from EE "Hi from EE. You've added TNT Sports from discovery+. Go to ee.co.uk/TNTsports to activate it. If you're using an Apple iOS device, please switch off WiFi before activating. Thanks.".

Following the link causes the pin issue. Using a browser on mobile or PC results in the classic EE site blank page or "BLOCKED". Useless.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today. Discovery + removed then later told to activate it. Pin problem too

Hi Ali, I tried the link but after inputting the PIN i get a message saying that there is nothing to activate. However on the EE app it mentions that I need to activate discovery +

Please help?
