Contract coming to an end, advice wanted.

So my contract expires with EE on the 28th Sept, I'm happy with my phone and going to go sim only for awhile. I was shopping around I want to stay with EE because they are by far the best network in my area and the Inclusive Extras are great, honestly. So I saw this and existing EE mobile customer get 30% off? Now sometimes it's there for me to select and other times it disappears. I was able to add it to my basket once and when I did that while signed into my account the Xbox Game Pass Inclusive Extra wasn't available, however when I added to the basket logged out it was there.

I would just like to know what my options are and what is the best way about going about it? Because through work I also get 20% off 24 month SIM only plans.

Also best way to go about swapping to sim only when the time comes?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

To change your existing line from a phone-plan to a SIM-only plan, you can do one of two things.

1: Login to your myEE online account upto a month prior to your minimum-term date and follow the "upgrade now" links. Then choose your preferred SIM-only plan.

2: Call CS on 150 on the same timescale and request a change of price-plan, specifying the plan you want to move to.

Either way, the change will then take effect on your minimum-term end date.

The 30% discount you're seeing, I strongly suspect is the standard multi-line discount applied to existing customers taking out an additional line - not necessarily available for existing users. CS on 150 may be able to offer you something account-specific.
