Yesterday I called to do an upgrade, and the friendly guy gave me a 10% discount as I had multiple lines and it will show on my next bill.
Now I've just set my brew device up, I get a text saying it has been removed before I get the bill, because I upgraded. The discount was FOR the upgrade.
What?
What's the deal here? Surely this has to be false advertising of some sort? I even have the paperwork to show the 10% will apply on the next bill.

Who called you?
Was it EE? I personally never do business with anyone who calls me. I just explain i will call the company myself.
It sounds like you may have been called by a third party authorised seller. These people tend to do anything just to get the sale as they are required for their commission.

No one called me. I called EE after I made a purchase through their online store.
