Hello,
I purchased a Pixel Watch 3 from EE on 13 November and was getting in touch regarding the free 6-month Fitbit Premium subscription that comes with the watch.
I’ve spoken with Google Support, who confirmed that I currently can’t activate the free trial because I already have an active Fitbit Premium subscription via Google One (ends in March 2026). They advised that once my existing Premium access ends, I should then be able to activate the Pixel Watch free trial—and that this should still be possible even if it’s more than 60 days since purchase (as required by EE).
However, I’m not able to see any way to claim or link the offer directly through my Google or Fitbit account, so I wanted to check with EE how this should be handled from your side. Could you please confirm:
- whether the Fitbit Premium offer is still available for my purchase, and
- how I should go about claiming it once my current subscription ends?
Happy to provide any order details if helpful.
Thanks very much for your help—much appreciated.
Best regards

When I was looking at the Google page, I noticed it states "The offer applies to new and returning Fitbit Premium members only". This confirms the trial can't be used with an active subscription. Which is understandable from a technical view point.
While the watch and promotion is offered through us, the trial and service is actually from Google.
The terms we state reflect what has been agreed by the manufacturer, so it's not something we're able to change on an individual basis.
You can prevent the activation by not completing the activation steps.
However, If they have agreed to activate the trial after the 60 day window, it's something you'd need to follow up with them directly.

Hi @MaxyG
Google's How do I join Fitbit Premium? terms say
"6 month membership included with a new device purchase: If you recently purchased a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch or a Google Pixel Watch, your device comes with a 6 month Premium membership. You can start your Fitbit Premium membership directly in the mobile app..... You must activate your membership within 60 days of device activation."
If your current membership ends in March 2026, you'll be beyond the 60 day limit, so it won't be possible to claim once your current subscription ends.

Hi Ali,
I contacted Google Support and they confirmed that it isn’t possible to add the Fitbit Premium trial to Google One or have the two overlap. They advised that once my Google One membership ends, I would be able to activate the 6-month trial.
I specifically asked about the 60-day window, and they confirmed this wouldn’t be an issue from their side.
If helpful, I’m happy to provide a copy of the support chat that they provided. Please let me know if there’s anything you need to do on your side—or anything that might allow or prevent activation of the 6-month trial.
Thanks very much,
Max
