Caribbean Islands

For the Caribbean Islands, EE and these forums mention buying a data add-on upon arrival. I would like to know what the potential costs are for this before getting there. What does the data add-on cost please? Of course I will plan to use Wifi where possible, but would like to know whether using a quick bit of data whilst out and about is prohibitively expensive. I am a Pay Monthly customer. Many thanks.

Hi @nicjf,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Yes, you'll receive a text when you arrive with a list of the add-ons that are available at that time.

You can view the current add-ons on page 14 of the EE pay monthly standard and non-standard price guide.

Hope this helps.

Hi @nicjf

You can check roaming charges and add-ons here:

Thanks

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I started with that page before posting. Whilst it says the charges for calls, texts, MMS etc, it just says 'buy a data add-on on arrival' for the data usage part for the countries I'm visiting. I presume I'll get a text as I connect to local network. I would just like to know what those data add-ons cost & how much data they provide
