Can you watch TNT sport on a smart tv directly through the app on the tv with EE

Before I subscribe to the TNT Sport add on to my mobile contract I want to establish if you can actually watch it on a large screen TV without casting it from the phone.

The article "How can I watch the TNT sports app on multiple devices is contradictory (see image below)

It states that TNT sport through EE only works on devices with an EE sim, but then goes on to list many devices including smart tvs and fire sticks that you can enter your ID and password into their apps to watch.(None of these devices can take a SIM card.)

What is the correct situation? Is it only possible to watch on a phone or tablet containing an EE sim?

No, it is still showing as BT Sport (and Large Screen add-on) but has the option to change to TNT Sport on Paramount+. Interestingly, on next month’s bill, it lists TNT Sport and Large Screen access is no longer listed.

The bill would change after the 18th July, any changes would show on the bill after this date.

I’ve had the same issue. But you now need to download the discovery+ app on your tv or console and watch through there.
